This spread is beautiful. I love braids, and the gold and the crochet and the long hair, feathers, fringe... sun and summer! It makes me want to lay in the grass and make jewelry all day.

White is for Summer, that's good enough for me.

 

White is the go-to shade this summer- hotter than ever and sexier than the staple 'all black' look. Gasp. Can a New York girl like me really think that anything can be sexier than all black? Well, maybe it's just as sexy. Dress it up for a sophisticated lady look or combine white with lace and wear loose curls in your hair for a more bohemian look. Whatever you choose to do, I always encourage you to wear flowers in your hair.

I came across these pictures on Gold Dust Women's blog and I was facinated, mainly by the rings. I am a die-hard ring fan. If I see a beautiful ring, I immediately get a gut wrenching sensation that causes my brain to scream, "BUY IT". I love statements, and this intergallactic, witch, edgy vibe has really got me going.

While I never jumped on the Agyness Band Wagon, I can't deny how stunning she looks in this editorial. She's so androgynous looking- so femininely boyish- it's just fantastic.

I especially love the portraits- I think they're brilliant. As for all the leather and spikes, animal print and black- you all know my obession with all of the above.

DIY Rope Necklace

This DIY has floated around but a friend recently sent me the link to this project and reignited my love for these necklaces. I remember that upon seeing the Proenza necklaces in Fashion mags, I wanted to re-create them. Alas, I did not. But the talent behind Honestly...WTF did, and you can find the entire tutorial here.

I always think about documenting my creative process but I just don't have the patience. Thank goodness for the people that do!
